Handwriting Kanji

今日、このビデオを見ました。Penmanshipについて話して、とてもおもしろい！

このビデオには書くのがとてもじょうずだから、すごい！それに、先週新しい万年筆(fountain pen)を買った。これはぼくの新しい万年筆だよ：

I was very inspired by this video, so I spent an afternoon practicing writing kanji in a more "calligraphic" way, and less formal/uptight like the textbook fonts. I downloaded a Japanese kanji calligraphy from the internet and try to imitate it as much as possible. The font can be downloaded here. Here's some of my writing practice:

I never thought practicing kanji handwriting could be so much fun! I'll keep practicing and getting better!
